TIPS FOR NEW MUM ENTREPRENEURS

By

The challenges of managing a business and a family can seem difficult to deal with. However, i have put together some three tips to help me sail through my “new me” to continue to be a good wife, mother and an entrepreneur at the same time. Implementing these few plans can make it easier. The key at the moment for me is to take one day at a time and do as much as I can to relax and just go with the flow. I know for a fact that my tips won’t work for everyone. But I believe it will motivate or help in some way to be both a terrific mom and business owner.

Ask for help

For the past few months I have realized I can’t do it all alone. Taking care of my little one can be exhausting. Doing that with business is definitely going to be more exhausting. Therefore I have decided to ask for help. Ask for help from close relatives to help with my little one whiles I make time for other things (work), and then from friends and other people that can help in one way or the other. With that I will find myself being efficient.

Have a to-do-list

I also plan to get an app to help me with my to do list. It will help me to easily prioritize my tasks. With that i will be able to now go through in order without using valuable time to decide what to do. This will save me more time. If you are a new mum like me and want to do as am doing you can do it even using a planner, online tools or simple pen and paper. I will be using Any.do. No matter how you do it, write down your to-do list. This step is so basic that many people underestimate its importance. Remember to set attainable daily task.

Keep Learning

Learning makes you inspired at all time. You are inspired by what you learn. Inspiration is a powerful motivation. Learning about other mum entrepreneurs can inspire me to keep going. I know it won’t be easy but I am so up for it just like other mums. If you ask any mom entrepreneur, they’ll probably tell you what they’re doing now is the most rewarding thing they’ve ever done. It’s certainly not easy, but worth it.

If anyone has advice or their own experiences to share with me I would absolutely love that.
